A sabbatical in 360 postcards
In 2020/21 I took a sabbatical and recorded my experiences in small paintings - one every day - for a whole year.
In this very special year for me...
... I quit my civil servant status and became self-employed as an artist.
... I cycled from Frankfurt first to Holland and then to Venice.
... I traveled through Namibia and Iceland and painted directly in front of an erupting volcano.
... I learned to tolerate my impatience for 7 months at home during the winter lockdown and painted a lot.
... I have finally come to terms with myself.

Postcard prints
Many of the small works are available to purchase as reprinted postcards. In some shops in Oberursel and at the markets and exhibitions.
