Camper Quartet
basic game

According to the classic quartet rules, the van, off-road camper and long-distance cyclist compete against each other. In the practical metal box, it is the perfect travel game and an ideal gift for camping enthusiasts and motorhome enthusiasts.

Event and place card expansion

Drive your motorhome to the festival or to wellness camping. The ant route gives you minus points when it comes to comfort, the additional tarpaulin adds value.

In different variants, the basic game is spiced up with strategy and variety. The place card expansion in particular now offers a completely new gaming experience.

Variants for the basic game

Sometimes no one wants to pick up the hitchhiker. Then logically it has a speed of 0 km/h. When the hitchhiker's speed comes up, you decide each time whether you want to give her a ride (e.g. by flipping a coin, tossing a coin or rolling the dice).

If there is no more space for the giant luxury camper, it has to be parked outside the campsite in the ugly parking lot and therefore only has comfort 5. You decide by lottery whether there is still a (huge) parking space available.

There is so much to discover on the journey. If you're too fast, you'll miss everything. That's why the slower value now always counts when it comes to speed. Of course you can also play the other values the other way around.

When a person only has three cards left in their hand, they get to choose which one counts.

Variants for expansion

Regarding the place card variant: Instead of 3 camper cards, everyone now gets 4 in their hand. 3 of them are placed as usual and the fourth goes back to the draw pile. So you have more choice.

Regarding the place card variant: You can also play three rounds with 6 campsites each. Then of course you have to draw 6 camper cards into your hand or even 7 and one of them goes back on the stack.

Applies to place card variant:

Each person only puts down one of their own camper cards (and thus assigns it to a place). Then the remaining cards in hand are passed in turn to the left. You then decide on a card again, put it down and pass on the rest. This continues until all cards have been discarded. If you have three camper cards in your hand, the cards are passed on twice.

Thanks ...

...that you have scrolled through this far. The camper quartet is a real passion project of mine and most of it grew from my crap and was painted, created, tested and put together myself over months, actually almost years of work. Nevertheless, it would not have been possible without some people who supported me and to whom I would like to thank:

Oli for reading, auditioning, patience, listening. My brother Andreas for crucial ideas for expanding and taking the instructions apart and putting them back together again. Feli for proofreading and collaboration and ideas for the audio instructions. All my hard-working test players: Ralf, Tiano, Kerstin, Patty, Petra, the lovely people from the games club at Cafe Portstraße and especially the organizer Mathias, all the children at the Union Lido campsite and the two boys at Heiterwanger See, Philipp and Sylke von der Mued, some of my students and my colleague Jusuf, ... (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone).

Ultimately the printing company MeinSpiel from Hamburg and Dörte Balschun, who supported me so professionally with all my questions.
